GSC, also known as “Girl Scout Cookies” or simply Cookies, is an indica-dominant hybrid marijuana strain from the California breeder Jigga who crossed a sub-type of OG Kush with an intermediate strain called F1 Durban. This popular strain is known for producing euphoric effects, followed up by waves of full-body relaxation. One hit of GSC will leave you feeling happy, hungry, and stress-free. This strain features a robust THC level of 25% and is best reserved for experienced cannabis consumers. Those with a low THC tolerance should take it slow with GSC as the effects of the strain may be overwhelming. The high THC content in GSC is beloved by medical marijuana patients looking for quick relief from symptoms associated with chronic pain, nausea, and appetite loss. GSC is famous for its pungent, dessert-like aroma & flavor profile featuring bold notes of mint, sweet cherry, and lemon. The average price per gram of GSC is $11. This strain has won numerous accolades and awards over the years, including a few Cannabis Cups. Because GSC has reached legendary status among the cannabis community at large, you can find many variations of this sought-after strain, including Thin Mint (aka Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies) and Platinum GSC (aka Platinum Girl Scout Cookies).

I’m a bit of a lightweight so after about 10 minutes a couple of hits from the blunt hit me like a truck.
the initial onset stirred up some anxiety, but we’ve been here before so after a couple waves–maybe another 10-20 minutes and I’m good.
there was a moment where I had to lie down, I thought maybe I was getting dizzy, it lightheaded? it’s likely me working through the last of the anxiety.
before you decide otherwise, let’s get to the high. Its not unusual that I get a touch of anxiety but I felt pretty clear headed for the most part. I could hold conversations without forgetting what I was talking about. tingly all over is great too. it feels great listening to music and nodding to the rhythm.
pretty long lasting for me–3-4 hours maybe? I ended up getting a tension headache in the end but I think that is what I get for staring at my cards too long.
would recommend.

All time fav. The high has a quality unlike any other strain I’ve tried… mind expanding, with crystalline clarity. & the flavor/aroma never fail to satisfy. The large, dense, tricome-covered texture of the buds makes them really easy to break apart and prepare. Been enjoying GSC for 4 years. It’s my “desert island” strain. 😉

i’m 99% sure most of the negative experience i had with this strain was my own fault—this was my first strain EVER and i definitely took too deep of an inhale. i’ll have to try it again to round out this review
the first wave hit in a quick 10ish minutes like a TRUCK; the severity of my reaction did induce some anxiety, but that’s normal for me. everything slowed down and every movement felt delayed by a half second, or like a vhs tape skipping. i immediately felt the need to lie down
after a good half hour, i got hungry and was stable enough to walk downstairs for a snack but was still pretty decombobulated. despite the dizziness, the anxiety had mostly worn off at this point and i was thinking pretty clearly, although i couldn’t quite tell if i was physically behaving normally. i took a puff at about 9 pm and went down at 11:45 pm.
i think this one has the potential to be great for a chill night in, watching a show, drawing, or listening to some music. it absolutely incurred some full-body relaxation after the anxiety had worn off. it’s very easy to take too much if you’ve got a low tolerance like i do, though
